AI is about to revolutionise the tech industry and Microsoft is (currently) leading the charge. In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, CEO Satya Nadella announced that the company plans to incorporate AI capabilities into almost every product, completely transforming the way we use their technology.
Nadella sees artificial intelligence as a major breakthrough moment in the history of tech. To provide some insight into Nadella’s current train of thought, he referenced a tweet from a former Tesla AI developer who said 80% of the code he writes today is being written by GitHub Copilot. In another, he talked about a demo in India where a person in rural India was able to access a government program through a bot on WhatsApp, thanks to GPT training on government documents.
Nadella believes that the impact of AI on the knowledge worker is the equivalent of the industrial revolution and will benefit everyone. It's clear that Microsoft is positioning itself at the forefront of the technological revolution that is AI. 👾🏦💰📈

Natural Language Processing (NLP)We’ve heard it a thousand times since November 2022 although some want further clarification. Natural Language Processing (NLP) is simply how computers understand (process) what we're saying or writing when we use standard (natural), language (when we prompt/articulate ourselves effectively!).
It also allows them to respond in a way that makes sense, just like a conversation. Ie. "What will OpenAI do with all that Microsoft moolah?" - "I am a large language model traine…….".
Exactly. NLP is widely used in a variety of everyday products and services such as ChatGPT and personal assistants like Alexa, Google Home, and Siri, as well as chatbots, voice recognition systems, language translation software, text analytics and text-to-speech applications.
