🎙Podcast
Stable Diffusion & Generative AI with Emad Mostaque - The TWIML AI Podcast with Sam Charrington
The pod's host, Sam Charrington, interviews Emad Mostaque, the founder and CEO of Stability.ai (do you need an introduction??), a company that has gained popularity in the generative AI space with the release of its stable diffusion model. The conversation covers the background of Stability's creation, the model's speed and scale, the relationship between stable diffusion and programming, and the areas that Emad expects to be disrupted by this technology (which *spoiler alert* is everything). The discussion also covers the open-source vs API debate, user safety and artist attribution concerns, and the infrastructure used to support the model.
I find Emad extremely fascinating and couldn't recommend this episode more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

freeCodeCamp - Machine Learning Fundamentals
Our host, Tim, is a computer scientist and engineer who is excited to share his knowledge of TensorFlow 2.0 and Machine Learning. He spends the first few minutes discussing the difference between Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks and Machine Learning. Tim then delves into a brief history of the topics and provides some practical examples. A fantastic overview for beginners. Tim is engaging and speaks in an easy-to-understand language, you can continue the course if you want to go deeper. For the record, Tim's handwriting is better than mine! ✍️

What is Machine Learning/ML?
Machine Learning is a way for computers to learn how to do a task by looking at examples and adjusting what they do based on the results.
For example, you can show a computer many pictures of various animals, and then tell it which ones are dogs. The computer can use this information to learn what a dog looks like. Later, you can show the computer a new picture, and it will be able to tell you whether there is a dog in the picture or not, just by looking at the shapes and colours.
Simply put, Machine Learning involves training algorithms using data to make predictions or decisions.
